Someone mentioned a few days back that for a mobile robot you need to use 2 outputs for the motors. I reckon you can get around that on the proviso that you *don't want to stop* one of the motors... Given the limitations you point out though, I would have probably chosen to get at least the front of the head right, and maybe made the part in gray rather than white to make up for the back being blank & to (...) On a flee market in the Netherlands I bought a huge model of a Lightouse. It was definitely no official LEGO model; my question is whether it was made by a hobbyist or by LEGO as a window display. It's a cylindrical structure, about 40 cm high, 20 (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Not to start a "mine's bigger than yours" war or anything but... I built a UP EMD DDA40X a while back (which was, I believe, the longest loco ever built at 98'5") which was 70 studs long and could take turns (but with no articulation). Sadly, it has (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)
