Re: 2000.2 Catalogue now out :)

Hi Benjamin, having seen the AUS version now, I think it's basically the same 2000.2 catalogue as the german [-European?] one, but there are also a couple of differences however. Nearly on every page you will find something which is slightly (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.general)

  Desprately Seeking 30141

...Okay, I guess *that* tagline spoof is quite old by now... I'm looking for the DAT file for part # 30141, Minifig Western Rifle. I don't think it's in the official release yet, but I got my hands on a pre-release copy a couple of years ago. I (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Body Armor

(...) I know that I wouldn't pay more than $2 for the samurai armor, since you can buy the shogun and his horse for that much. As for the other two, I have no clue. I'll tell you this much, I wouldn't sell my castle armor for less than $20. I, (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Concerns with Racial Attitudes and Lego

(...) Well, is it really if we consider the target audience? I've said it before, I'll say it again: as long as the kids seem happy with the minifigs, as long as the kids are able to use their own imagination to bring diversity to the world of Lego (...)   Minifig values

Does anyone know of a guide to minifig values - even a relative ranking (Ice Planet and Forest women being the most valuable, Timmy the least) would be helpful. What about accessories? animals? Maybe we could create one, grouped by theme, (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Why do we want to display?

(...) Wow, that's an open-ended question! I'll throw in my 2cents worth. The GMLTC does 4 to 6 shows a year. We'd like to do more, but nearly every show we do costs us money - we very seldom make enough to cover show expenses. Especially the 'out of (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Employment site

Here's an interesting employment site with several LEGO job listings. I found it on (URL) wonder why they don't post job listings to LUGNET? Todd- how about lugnet.lego.jobs? (URL) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.announce)

Re: Download from Notebook on Windows 2000

Fred, I used dl in full screen mode as you suggested and successfully downloaded the pcode interpreter. I haven't actually tried to load an IC program yet, but at least I'm heading in the right direction. (I forgot your advice about throwing away (...)   Re: Tiger Prediction

best train set for starting out

I've been a Technic fan for a long time and am now looking to get into getting some of the Lego train sets. Could anyone recommend which sets might be the best one to buy starting out.   So when's the next meeting?

Subject says it all. I think we should try to nail down a specific date and time. The sooner I find out about the date the better the chance I can make it. I'd also be willing to act as a host.   Re: How many used to do this when building?

I STILL do this as I have a bunch of old bricks. This is especially true when stacking 1x1's or 1x2's. These seem particularly likely to have the mark on the side rather than top. David Simmons <xenobuzz@onemain.com> wrote in message (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)
