Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer  [DAT]

Hey all, Here's my first semi-successful attempt at (quasi-) parts-authoring. I'm extremely new at this, and would appreciate any feedback I can get on the changes I made to this part. What I did: I modified the part #4349 (Town Loudhailer) to have (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Whoa whoa whoa! Watch what you say, please. For the record, I have *NEVER* censored a message here and never will. Any message I have ever removed has been under one of four cases: 1. Someone is unable to cancel their own message for whatever (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: When we gonna BrikWar?

(...) So next week. Tues or Wens. I've been building and can select an army from my forces. My tendencies are towards large vehicles, so a 250CP limit will be tight for me. But, I think it is best for the forum. Perhaps we can do a high CP, low (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Self-Centering extended coupler

Yes, I am concerned that the slack action could result in a high failure rate, especially if there is not a strong structure at the end of the car to help keep the coupler attached to the car. Thanks for the kudos. The design occurred to me when I (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

In lugnet.dear-lego, Richard Marchetti writes: **snip of stuff with which I generally agree re: licensing** (...) I don't think EP1 was a good piece of drama, but how, exactly, do you define it as "an epically huge flop"? Certainly not in box office (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: who's feelin the black pack?

(...) No one here is suggesting that ABS is flesh or that minifigs are real people, but to assert that the Luke, Leia, Han, et al minifigs do not represent a particular group is flatly incorrect. Dave! (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Set info

You've got a point. IF Jorge Rodriguez was honest about Targets policy I don't think Lego would be so tight up about their sets for next year. Of course, Lego seems pretty bottled up abut everything now a days. ANY WAY, someone's gonna be really (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

If we find out about leaked information (from some other site for example), can we talk about that information in other casual conversations on Lugnet? Ben (...)
