Basicly it would be a page with a picture and some info on all of the important people in the ldraw and lego community, people like: todd lehman tim courtney steve bliss kevin lock (brickshelf.com is very important...) mabie brad justus...? anyone (...) Has anyone been reading FBTB lately? A guy in London says he has an exclusive set with 1 MTT, 2 ATT's, 5 Gungan Patrol sets, 30 extra BD's, 30 extra Gungan Warriors(not Jar Jars) and 5 Maroon Security Battle Droids. No pics yet but he says he will (...) (26 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I looked at a couple of different pricing schemes. They were all way too much. You could US Mail all 4 o' them critters for less than 7 bucks. The way I figure, it's just not worth it. IMO ~M (26 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I think that the 'equality' comment was incorrect. Color is not what denotes equality. Having one 'color' would mean superiority of that color. equality means everything is equal DESPITE things such as race. To show real equality among LEGO models (...) We were at Santa's Village today, and I got this set because it was pre-'98, and it was the only LEGO SYSTEM set in the gift shop. It was $6.99 Canadian, which gives it an obvious con- this thing has the highest cost per piece of anything ever (...) (26 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.reviews)

I think Lego is just trying to cut corners and save money. They are aimed at the younger audience, and all they do is get their parents to buy the latest hyped up theme. (...) At least they don't jack up their prices above retail, or put non outlet stores in outlet malls, both KB tricks.
