Re: Color pieces of rebel ship sets

Is there a place where I can get a standard name or part number from? I'll check brickbay.com but I don't know if there is such a thing. Name of the names came from brickbay.com. I'll check and if someone does know of a standard I'll be happy to (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Minifig Heads

Is it just me or are some of our minifig heads evolving? I mean it all started with Jar Jar Bink's head in the 1999 Star Wars EPI Series of toys. That head was a pain in the slag. I've noticed that C-3PO's head looks that way too. And Chewies'. I (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Color pieces of rebel ship sets

One other thing I can do is add a pic. of each piece next to the description? But this will make the file huge so I think description will be better of not to mention that I would be able to get all the photos of all the pieces..... ahui (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Lamenting over Builders' (Lego?) Block

Often what I like to do is just start off by copying the basic shape of a spaceship I see in a movie or online... and then I change the elements I don't like or add things I think it should have. Sometimes I cobble together bits of spaceships to (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: next meeting...?

So, it's decided then? Saturday, 26 August? Eric's place in Auburn? Cool, I'll be there. Eric, how do you want to handle giving out the directions to your place? Email? (Like craigo did for the first meeting.) Thanks, Franklin (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug)

  RE: NMRA info, Handouts??

That is for the NMRA convention. Admission to the Nat'l Train show, simultaneous, but different venue is $8 per day. The $2 is a discount off the $14 2 day train show only ticket. Mark (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  L3Lab woes

...Okay, they're not actually woes, just a couple of nits that *really* slow me down: First, when I start up L3Lab, I get a message box telling me that the best drawings should be rendered in true color (24/32 bit) instead of my measly 64k-color (...)   Re: Ironic LEGO Auction Item

(...) I typically regard "boxed" as simply including the original box. The set may nor may not be complete. The quality of the pieces is not specified, and the instructions may or may not be included. MISB (Mint In Sealed Box) or NIB (New In Box) or (...)   Re: African American Minifigs

(...) For what it's worth, I agree. I think that yellow is fine for representing lighter skinned races such as Caucasians and East Asians, but a bit of a stretch for darker-skinned races, such as South Asians, Africans, and Australian Aborigines.
