Re: Major revision/expansion of my wantlist page

(...) Wow! I sure appreciated all the goodies he threw into the box when I got my Shell sets, especially the copy of The Gate of the Present. I suspect LEGO is going to end up giving me the excuse to take a trip to europe. I haven't been since 1972 (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.fun)

  Re: which set?

Wow, I didn't know that verdigris was the word for it. I thought verdigris was the pearly grey stuff that came out of whales. See Moby Dick, where Herman Melville writes pages about it and what people will do to get it and what it feels like and (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.fun)

  RE: The Well traveled Maniac

G'day, I'm just thinking [It does occasionally happen] that it may be useful to give us an idea of exactly WHERE you'll be in Australia, so we can have some little chance of working out what we can arrange...Just because TLG treat us like an (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

I've resumed building after a short, involuntary, dark age!

As some of you may know, we bought a new house, but it's taking 5 months to build so we have to live in an apartment (1/2 the size of our previous house) for that period of time. I had thought I would have to go without LEGO during that time period, (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Major revision/expansion of my wantlist page

(...) Well, I consider Naboo Swamp is one of those "good" ones because it parts out so easily, whereas Speeder Bikes doesn't (lack of plates and bricks.) But any Star Wars set is a far above average part mine. (...) Yeah, I think so too. I have a (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Gift For Suz has been Delivered.

Priority colors would be neat. What exactly is the market value for a brown 1x4 brick? I tried to determine if these really existed a while ago. (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: which set?

It's not the greatest set, but, 4556 the train station has 233 pieces, many of which contribute incrementally to the vertical growth of the building. It's two stories high with a flag on top (could be the final piece.) It also has 30 red 2x2 round (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.fun)

  Re: Aquazone door?

It isn't in any other set. However, this set can often be found at Zainy Brainy for $45 or less. It is my favorite set, and has lots of cool parts besides the doors.
