  Lunar Mining Colony

I've updated my web site with pictures of my lunar mining colony - Copernicus City. The Prologue and Chapter I show the inception and construction of the initial base on my 4'x8' lunar landscape. Future chapters will follow its development into a (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Question on Samsonite gears sets

Hi. I found a nice lot of 60's and 70's stuff yesterday at the local Salvation Army, which included some large gears: 2 blue (8-stud diameter), 4 yellow (4-stud), and 4 white (2-stud). There are no axles included in the lot. All of the Samsonite (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: G'day From Down Under

(...) Vancouver Lego Club is having a "free-for-all" meeting in August (ie no specific theme) but haven't set a date and theme for a Sept meeting yet.   Re: light sensor problem?

(...) I looked through the dsensor stuff, and it looks quite bad to me... We execute a delay loop inside an interrupt handler. We issue the command to start the next read from that same handler. This will read the sensors very quickly, for the cost (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Possible bug with bss allocation

(...) Paolo and others: Eddie and I have talked about this, and we both agree that this is a big change- so I think we are aiming for this for 0.2.5. Since it has already been seven months since 0.2.3, I think we'll aim for getting 0.2.4 out the (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: light sensor problem?

(...) To achive scaling of light sensor reading from 0..100 the following theoretical formula should be used: light = 146 - scaled / 7, where scaled is the reading of AD_X >> 6. I found this at (URL) this page contains a lot of electrical (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Ideas for 0.2.5 (was: Re: Possible bug with bss allocation)
