  Re: Next meeting Venue

Sorry about that last post - itchy trigger finger. What news of next venues? IIRC Santosh and Peter are both concerned about coming as far as my place, and Santosh is quite rightly (being a trainhead) concerned about being all over the floor yet (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Bulk Prices!

(...) Do you think that they will begin to communicate with consumers about other things than bulk sales? Ben Roller (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

New part: Minifig Torso with Castle Breastplate Pattern  [DAT]

Here is another of the missing Castle torsos. There is a lot of fine detail on this part IRL. I have included the breastplate buckles, but not the small rivets [dots], which would hardly show at 8x magnification, let alone at normal size. I hope (...)   Re: Bulk Prices!

I really wonder who else (other than the adult Lego community) regularly uses Shop At Home to make purchases. You have to be a die hard Lego fan to go to the trouble of mail ordering specific pieces. There is lots of selection in the stores to keep (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

LegOz 2000.5 BrikWars (was What's a good Army?)

Soooooo, who and what do we expect to have in the (battle)field (wherever the field ends up being ;-) I'm starting to turn my mind to the sort of equipment Richard II should be lobbing into his cogs... And will anyone have a digicam? I used to be a (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Bulk Prices!

(...) Its hard to say right now. I sure hope so. I know that right now I'm preparing to go to the Kidvention at Legoland California to demonstrate LDraw with a few other CAD enthusiasts, and that TLC is providing a lot for me and my crew. This is (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Bulk Prices!

When I was young (early 80s) I drooled over the parts packs brochure. I never begged my parents to order any ("You already have too much Lego" might have been the answer.) Now I live in an apartment building. One day in the elevator I observed a (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) I do, yes. Absolutely. In fact, they have (at least BradJ has) already begun to communicate with consumers about other things...LDraw at Kidvention, for example. --Todd (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Proposta

(...) Sinceramente non credo che si possa trovare di meglio a livello di prezzo di quanto già facciano Toycity, Reinnman ( e anch'io) per i set nuovi e DYA per quelli fuori produzione. E su letsbuyit non c'è neppure un Lego :( Marco (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: Bulk Prices!

(...) Oops, that's missing some important words. It should say: Getting themselves geared up for bulk purchasing and anything else related to it which they may or may not choose to do, such as short just-in-time production runs (if they can switch (...)   lego mondstorms challenges

Marco (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: Proposta

  7184 useful for castle!?

Hello everyone I've found the Star Wars set 7184, of which I immediately thought: wow, these parts can be very useful in building structures (houses or castle). Normally they cost here in the Netherlands ca. $64,50 but they are now (in some shops) (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: lego mIndstorms challenges

(25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.it)
