Re: 4565 Freight & Crane Railway for $75 at ZanyBrainy

(...) Aha! So you must be that 'mysterious guy' who called up the Glendale store and purchased all the sets including the 4 I had set aside on layaway. I wend down yesterday to pick them up, and was told that they had sold them yesterday morning to (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: NEW LMF MECHA: Micronaut

It looks to me like the problem is a JavaScript error, and it is most probably caused by that sponsor frame at the bottom of your site. Do you have any control over that, or else could you find a different host? (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Boston & Maine GP9 Locomotive

(...) First of all, I REALLY like what you've done, especially with the logo. Now, on to the nits :-) To fix the "camel-hump" I'd delete the top row of slopes (but keep the inverse slopes!) and use a layer of plates and / or tiles to model the upper (...)   Re: Model of a rockface

I liked it. I thought the right hand route was not challenging enough though. The rock overhang would have been much more suspenceful. Good work. -Chuck (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Sending Cash Abroad

(...) (snip) People keep saying this, but I have looked all over the USPS site ((URL)), as well as in the U.S. Code ((URL)), and I can't find anything that says it's illegal to send currency through the mail. To the contrary, the USPS provides (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Which buildings open up?

I have a question for you lego experts. I would like to experiment with the kind of lego buildings that open up with hinges (similar to everyone's favorite yellow castle). I'd like to examine some of TLG's open up models before the days when they (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) If you have L3LAB (normally available at www.netby.net/Nord/M...3lab.html, which is temporarily out of service, but I can email you a copy) you can do the following: If you click on a [dat] link on LUGNET, IE thinks it will receive a file (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: NEW LMF MECHA: Micronaut

Hey John! It looks great. You seem to be able to capture the "husky" mecha feel very well. Another thing you could do for some variation is slap a minifig head w/helmet on there and it would look like powered armor. I'm definitely going to examine (...)   Re: 3340 SW "Darthpack" on S@H now!

(...) Are we to derive this from what's printed on the box ("Star Wars #4), or what's in TLC's computers ("Pit Droids With Leader")?
