Aha! So you must be that 'mysterious guy' who called up the Glendale store and
purchased all the sets including the 4 I had set aside on layaway. I wend down
yesterday to pick them up, and was told that they had sold them yesterday
morning to a 'guy on the phone'. Oh, well...no harm. no foul. The manager was so
apologetic (since I had put money down on them) that I ended up with other deals
that were (for my purposes) far better.

Well, considering that I cleaned out 3 of my 4 local stores (Canoga Park,
Northridge, and Thousand Oaks), I don't feel too bad. I'm annoyed about the
wasting of gas to pick up the Glendale sets, but I'll live. :-)
