yes, i also have a bag of distressed bricks that i keep around for various
things. one of my favorite simple schemes was to screw an eye hook into the
short side of a red 2x4 brick. it's my keychain! i attatch a blue 2x4 and
yellow 2x4 to the top and bottom of the red one, so i always have 3 basic
bricks with me at all times. if you've ever actualy used a lego mini-fig
keychain, you know it gets roughed up and ruined after a year or so. anyway,
that's my fave use for an old worn brick. when people ask me about my hobby,
i pull out my keychain!
