Does anyone use "distressed" lego?

Hey, does anyone have a use for beat-up lego elements? Badly scratched, bent
or even broken? I thought someone might use them to build things that have
crashed, robots that are damaged, etc....Just curious, and I'd rather give
them to someone rather than throwing them out when I get them! Scott

| (...) yes, i also have a bag of distressed bricks that i keep around for various things. one of my favorite simple schemes was to screw an eye hook into the short side of a red 2x4 brick. it's my keychain! i attatch a blue 2x4 and yellow 2x4 to the (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)
