Re: Thanks for the warm welcome but...

(...) Oh, OK, I see what you mean now. Thanks! I too like the story format of displaying creations - it adds so much depth to the creations, havng a whole world around them. I know that a lot of people are working on their stories, but haven't (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Parts Inventories

There are some here: (URL) best way is to just check the contents on each page of the instructions. It does take time, but nor nearly as much as building a large set. Good luck Scott A Michael Pratt <mpratt@cix.co.uk> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: has the 6 x 6 dome windshield ever been done?

(...) No, I didn't. I'm pretty sure I used Tom's bubble. Since it uses a sphere primitive, it works well in POV-Ray, but it's kind of low resolution in LDraw... --Bram Bram Lambrecht.........Br...L@JUNO.com (URL) (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.cad)

Ah whoops I was in a bit of a rush. No fault on yourself. I meant to say that out of all the castle lego (and therefore only lego) pages I have searched over, I would say that your page, Pawel's page, and Jeff's page are my favorites. What I meant (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: lnp communication question

(...) lnp does a checksum and throws away bad data. I think it is a 1 byte checksum so 1 out of 256 errors gets through anyway. There is no retry so timeout and retry has to be handled by some higher level code. (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Roll Call thingie - nice work!

Welcome all! Ben's roll call idea has worked out a treat - top marks.   Very strange problems

Hi! I am experiencing some very strange problems when programming my RCX. Sometimes (too often) the RCX just locks up when I run my program and I have to remove the batteries and reload the firmware.
