Question about Java with application to web

Hi, I'd like to have an effect like this on a web page: A series of images are loaded into the client browser in the background in a "transparent" fashsion, and displayed when the user clicks on certain links. Can such a thing be achieved with a (...) (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Damaged MINT Lego?

(...) I once (12 years ago?) had a mismoulded bevel gear in a set. But things like this don't happen often, in my experience. Fredrik (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lego Soccer Buses, Part Two

OK, I'm confused. I just got the Island Hopper from LEG0 S@H and it came with the new 2000 catalog. In it it shows the the bus in the link below that's numbered 3405, but it lists it as set 3406. So, which is it, 3405 or 3406? The other blue bus (...) (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lego Soccer Buses, Part Two

I don't know if this helps any , but.. Checking four pieces of LEGO literature (US and EU), I can say only that 3405 is always depicted as below (blue truck, white windows). And 3406 as reverse color, figs not shown. The figs in photo below look (...) (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Yards

(...) In Britain all railway lines are designated up or down - then fast or slow. All lines go 'up' to London - how they work out lines parallel to London I don't know. Is a goat a shunter, a bit like 7760? Carbon 60 (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

  Re: Yards

(...) No, it is a smallish animal, somewhat larger than a dog that eats grass...but, in a railway context, it would be about eq. to a 08 or such like (if not a 2x class engine in the UK, american ones tend to be 1500 HP and up.   LEGO 2x4's change throughout the ages...

Re: Lego Soccer Buses, Part Two

According to www.lego.com/football/ , set 3406 (blue windows) has the team of blue torsos. Must be a mistake in that new catalog. But we still don't know if they've gotten the number wrong or the set picture. sorry can't be more help. -Suz. (...) (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Damaged MINT Lego?

I haven't gotten a bad brick since 1976. My first set had a malformed 2x2 brick, and a 2x4 red gate. I still have the brick--I found it the other day--and I think I will send it back. It is only 24 years old. Chris (...) (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)
