  LEGO abacus

All, To pass a couple of hours, and to use up some of my many extra wheel hubs, I decided to construct a LEGO abacus: (URL) Harshbarger / eric@ericharshbarger.org / www.ericharshbarger.org "Oh please, if people are going to start telling the truth (...)   Re: FA: United Nations posters (set of 5)

Thanks for pointing out the link, Jeremy. Eric McCarthy also found it a couple of days ago as posted here: (URL) was surprised to hear that they might still be available as I received mine quite some time ago. Has anyone been able to confirm which (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: NELUG BrikWars 04-29-2000

(...) Brandeis has this page for class reunions, but not much to recommend: (URL) is a cheapo motel in nearby Watertown: Super 8 Motel, (617) 926-2200, 100 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472 - Their phone exchange might have changed to (781).   Re: New MOC from Brikwars: Dragoon MK2 and Rampage

(...) It's actually not an antenna, it's a minifig challis/goblet stuck between a pair of 1x1 cylinders. I like the looks of it, because of the way it curves, even moreso than the antenna trick. The Rampage uses your idea more closely, with a dark (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Pirate Cutlass

(...) Thanks! :-) (...) Urk! That's an error. I've deleted it (in my backup copy). I'll re-post the revised copy later (I want to wait and see if there are any other suggestions on improvements). Thanks, Franklin (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Castle Ninja Katana

(...) Thanks! :-) (...) Well, by my reckoning, that was the last one left (let's see, someone else already did the classic Sword, I sent in the Greatsword, and I just posted the Cutlass and the Katana), so I guess I did. Just don't ask me to tackle (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: German Halftrack, Armored Car, etc. etc ...

aw, man, i love it when we get a .dat file (to see the making of a great model so i can make some at home). i particularly like the way you used the hinged plates to effect the fenders of the jeep, fredrik. your original model is an excellent basic (...)   Re: Ideas for I-DEAS?

(...) When I bought a used SGI Indy a while back it came with a ton of manuals and cdroms for that package. I threw most of the manuals out, and probably the cdroms too. It looked interesting but far too complex for anything I'd want to do with it. (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: ZB buying NoodleKidoodle

I live near a NoodleKidoodle in Houston and have been to another one on the other side of town. I've only done a limited amount of business with them so I can't speak for how they might do in a "pressure situation". However, they are nice stores (...)   Re: German Halftrack, Armored Car, etc. etc ...

(...) I'm happy to hear that you were inspired by it! That's why I post models on the web (and LUGNET), in the first place! I didn't add the tools myself because I found them a bit too large (and many weren't available in LDraw). I thought about (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)
