Glad to help out. Let's see some of your stuff. If you've got some pics, you can email them to me, I'd like to see what you've got. -Dave Jr. (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build)

  Re: Old LEGO

(...) I have been thinking about this topic for a very long time. My take on this is that in lugnet.general, the most people will be exposed to the history behind LEGO. If we were to make say a lugnet.history, or a lugnet.classic, perhaps a lot of (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Work in progress: World Trade Center. Some photos too.

Very nice work Sean! That exterior is going to look very very impressive as it grows higher. I like the elevators and the lobby, too, you put some nice human touches in there! Kevin (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Review of 3401 Shoot 'N Score

Hello, I have a question regarding the 3401 Shoot N Score soccer set. Do ALL of these sets come with the Zidane figure, even though the box may picture otherwise? I spoke to someone at S@H, but they couldn't tell me the answer. Or is this something (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Wooden guard barracks

(...) Hey, cool. I really like the interior detailing. The rooms look "in use", which is tricky to do. I especially like the armoury. (Hey - do you want to get together and figure out a "standard" for curtain wall sections? We've got enough (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Some more MGLM Mecha

Hi Dave, Your mecha are beautiful as always, but I have a couple of questions: 1) Doesn't the use of a single peg at the shoulder make your mecha difficult to pose? It seems like they'd fall apart if you try to extend the arm forward. Do you use the (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build)

  Re: Second Ohio BrikWars Battle

East Coast BrikFest is on June 9th - 11th in Washington D.C. Perhaps an Ohio contingent could make it out there for BrikWars, or just to look around and/or show off creations. Thats something to keep in mind anyway when setting our next date. Jeff (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: AFOL article

(...) I wonder if $180M is a typo? The 1998 TLG annual report lists net sales of 7,680 million DKK in 1998 and 7,616 million DKK in 1997. In today's[2] USD these figures are 968 million USD and 960 million USD, respectively. Could it be true that (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Nationwide BS Lego Comp

The Nationwide BS had a Lego competition on right now for kids. The are asking for "rocket space" designs. The winner will have their model specially made for them by the model builders at Windsor. I'm not sure if you have to have a kid's account (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: New Creation: Pheonix W

I suppose I'm offering criticism, but please accept it as constructive :) IMO, the ship looks a bit too "flimsy" to withstand the high-G forces of high-speed flight. Your ship looks like more of a lo-G glider to my eye. I tend to build mine SOLID (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: New Part x43p01 Flag 6 x 4 with Pirates Pattern

(...) Thanks! :) (...) Yes - and no. I am currently working on a hybride program. Project name is BMP2DAT2. It will be a combination of BMP2DAT, LDD, and LDS. But at this point, it only combines the not too user-friendly attributes of those (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Lambda Class Shuttle

Wow, that's the best lego Lamba-Class Shuttle I have seen so far. Just a small suggestion: When photographing the shuttle in wings-down configuration, you should yank those 4x4 gray cylinder pieces you used for landing struts. Also: I'd like to see (...)
