  Re: Knight's armor

As much as I would love to see the return of the European Armor, Or even the silver armor from the imperial armada, I just don't see it happening. If they were going to start using it again why not include it with the Royal Joust (6095)? If you give (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle)

  Cut off the dying vine

Hey, does anybody out there even care about the rock raiders? I mean the last post in this forum was three weeks ago, and he was looking for hats to make wild west items. I hope that all of the R&D that went into this whole Rock Raider system of (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.underground)

  Re: brikwars...

(...) It's something that takes some getting used to. The important thing is to have a way to tell them apart when you need to, the method isn't really that important. (...) Did you really think so?   Re: Improper Mold Use (was Re: New 2000 Sets from S@H)

(...) Bad experience at the tanning parlour? ;) Actually, I'm not sure--probably just to keep 'em "attractive." I'm sure you could put the Stego leg bases on the Tricerablocks and vice-versa--it'd look better, thasfersure. best LFB (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Inaugural Ohio BrikWars Meeting

(...) It wouldn't work for all TLs though - Flyers that had good enough sensors and instruments to dodge mountains would probably also be able to target enemies through the fog. The XWing example wouldn't, of course, since even with the Force as his (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: brikwars...

(...) Well, that's why it's an Optional Rule. (...) Nah, no extra CP's. All communications equipment comes for free. There's no real reason to use Radios if you don't want, I just think it's more fun that way. (...) Well, that's why the (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Frequency of LEGO sales?

I recall there being tons of sales last year as well - AND - at that time, I wasn't using LUGNET to find deals on the net. I was just driving around and I found plenty of deals. With the net available, there are tons of deals to be had! I think that (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  3-wheeled motor-cycles

I have approximately 7 (in each color) of the 3-wheeled motor-cycle bodies in red, blue, and white, (plus 1 gray). I have too many of them, so I would probably let them go for not too much of a counter-trade. Here is my trade page (URL) email me if (...)   Re: brikwars...

(...) When we have too many guys on the field to keep track of, we're careful to make sure they always hold their weapons in such a way to indicate whether they are ready to attack, or whether they have just attacked. After firing a ranged weapon, (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: Cut off the dying vine (or Rock Monster clan)

(...) True. Every set has too many specialty pieces, and they can't be easily integrated into other themes. Plus, the price:piece ratio is too expensive. I'd buy a few of the sets, IF they went on extreme clearance. Of course, that would only be for (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.underground, lugnet.castle)

Re: Cut off the dying vine

(...) The cost per piece in the Rock Raiders sets is higher than for any other theme, and the number of juniorized parts and SPUDs is in general quite high. I suspect that parents balk at the former, and both AFOL and discerning JrFOL (who would (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.underground)

Solution for the white maiden's cap

To the open ears at TLC, $30+ dollars for a stinkin' maidens cart on EBAY is not doing the valued lego enthusiast any favors. We all want the white maidens cap! I lost mine years ago.   "Boring bricks?" Not if all colors available (was: the latest news)

Ordinarily, I don't believe in "me-too" posts. However, since it is feasible that TLG is using the content of this newsgroup to plan Lego Direct's output, I will add my two cents. I agree with James Trobaugh. If we can order the standard blue-tub (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Help! Mildew "infection"
