  Re: Frequency of LEGO sales?

Re: DixieLUG, GMLUG area coverage - a big "?"

(...) Kentucky's in the South, I agree, although it snows there quite a bit. Some would argue whether it's in Dixie. It's north of the Mason Dixon line and didn't secede. :-) ++Lar (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug, lugnet.org.us.gmlug)

Re: DixieLUG, GMLUG area coverage - a big "?"

Well technically the eleven Dixie states were Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Being a native of Georgia I've never really considered Florida or Texas to be (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug, lugnet.org.us.gmlug)

  Re: Frequency of LEGO sales?

Going out of one's Dark Ages is a very expensive process. You first have to replenish your collection and as an AFOL, you're not content with just a set here and there, you want the whole collection. I'M collecting the Technic series and all the (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Instant Transfer of Funds from Paypal to X.com?

Kind of an interesting side note to this. For the first time, I transfered funds from paypal to my checking account and while the transfer said 3-5 days, it happened in 1 day.   Re: DixieLUG, GMLUG area coverage - a big "?"

At the start of the war Kentucky sought to remain neutral; in September 1861 Confederate troops invaded Kentucky, leading to Kentuckians enlisting overwhelmingly in the Union cause. I don't know if I'd call a Kentuckian a Yankee though, I guess it (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug, lugnet.org.us.gmlug)

(...) Yes, I just tried and it still works. I remember that there were some programs (Ray Dream Studio for example) that had problems importing the files but 3DS Max imported everything correctly. Leonardo (26 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  Re: Fibre Optic Question

(...) A few notes and some opinions on the sets mentioned... Even though it's not a Technic set, the 6979 would probably be a good cheap choice for a fiber optic unit to experiment with, as it comes with a battery box, micro motor and needed wiring. (...)
