  Re: Estimating Piece Count

Hi guys, I used an very simple method, but it works. If you really have all parts mixed and I mean mixed there will be approx 1000 pieces an one kilo of weight. If you dont want to mix it all up and throw all the flower leaves and Technic parts on a (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: New newsgroups for LEGO Direct and the LEGO Company

(...) OK, this has changed. Posting privileges to lugnet.lego.announce are now disabled by default. (...) Still true, but now managed by the server, in case someone forgets or ignores the charter. --Todd (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Rough Draft: Hiawatha Engine

Hey Mike-- Nice start and a fine choice to model! We at the GMLTC plan to have the Hiawatha as our signature passenger train. I am currently smack dab in the middle of my taxes (:( so I can't devote much time now but to say this: If you can get your (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Setting up IE to view DAT files with L3Lab?

(...) Hmm. What client are you using, and what URLs are you accessing? The names "ldraw", "ldraw(1)", "ldraw(3)", etc. don't come from the webserver -- it doesn't specify a filename. --Todd (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Photos of Lugnet people I've met

Hi Kevin. (...) You might wonder, I do think a lot if they got the change to practice. Creating music feels the same like building some of your own with bricks. So at the end I think Lugnetters are an creative bunch of people. I was capable of (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.people)

  Re: Shell sets

(...) Thanks Lindsay, overseas posts are always welcome here, especially ones with kind offers.   Re: the latest news

(...) Oh yeah! I'll buy that for a dollar. Cypress trees would definitely be near the top of my list. Although, I don't think I could ever use a thousand. Tiles! They would definitely be near the top of the list too. Oh my, I could get carried away (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: voltage question??

(...) Hi Dave, a blue motor housing with black base, that means a very old motor like from sets 100, 102, 112, 113 from 1966 - 1968. So it's definitely a 4.5 Volt motor.   Re: Setting up IE to view DAT files with L3Lab?

(...) I'm using Internet Explorer 4.0 on Windows NT platform (yes, this is at work, I would never use such a thing at home). The URLs I'm accessing are the ones you get by clicking on the "[DAT]" symbol in the LUGNET web interface, eg: (URL) I try (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)
