  How about a BASIC building contest?
 
I've had this idea for quite a long time, and now I've found the build.contests group so I can share it! I'm thinking of a BASIC building contest. You choose one of the available BASIC sets (perhaps those available last year, as well), and build (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Yep, You took a DOS format makefile. Unix uses \n for line ends, DOS \r\n. When unix sees the DOS form, it thinks you mean 'ir_rover^M' ^M, Ctrl-M is the unix way of expressing \r.
