  Lego direct in AUS?

Does anyone know if lego direct is coming to australia and what they will be offering here? Hopefully it is access to sets that are otherwise unavailable down under (these soccer sets are a good example) at resonable prices. (26 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Lost Instructions

This is very interesting. My current policy stands, however, if TLC explicitly asked me to include current instructions, I would probably accomodate their request. KL (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  RE: Soccer sets in Aus

Minor detail...LA isn't totally responsible for our sub-standard range...It's also up to the buyers from retailers like target, k-mart, Myers, etc, who decide what they want us to get. That's why you sometimes get exclusives [eg the TRU sets with (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Bulk Listings On Ebay

Has anybody noticed that the sellers who use the bulk upload seem to get lower prices on their auctions? As a sniper, I find it impossible to bid on 25, 50,or 100 auctions all ending within a minute or two. One set of auctions just ended tonight had (...)   Re: Lego direct in AUS?

(...) Yes it is international (so we have been assured) but no announcement on services/products/price structure has been forthcoming. Hopefully these things will be so. But not soon. Lego direct will probably go one of two ways. Either there will (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

intersting thoughts on lego sales in australia.

Here is what I have noticed about stores that carry lego in australia (perth anyway) 1.TRU and W4K tend to have most of the line, including the RIS & stuff. The mindstorms stuff is usually over with the computer games but surprisingly the (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Blue torso

Set 6042 (Dungeon Hunters) comes with one, and so do several other castle and town sets. In addition, you can turn any unwanted blue torso into a solid blue very easily with a rag and a can of Brasso. :) --Jared (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Soccer sets in Aus

What we need to do is push the managers of the smaller independant toy stores, tell them that we would buy lots of them if they got the soccer sets in, show them the sets in the current catalog, and ask them to order them from lego. See what they (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  RE: Lost Instructions

This was the info I got about 3 months before you brought your page on-line. At that time, I put together a basic set of pages, where people could select the sets they wanted scans of instructions from, and I'd e-mail them out. Since your page has (...)   Re: LEGO Easter Eggs

(...) Yeah, some of the color combinations are too high-contrast and hurt my eyes, too. But I also wanted to try out different combinations for future projects. Now I know why so many LEGO sets are mostly neutral and monochromatic. John (26 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)
