  Re: Favorite castles?

(...) I'd have to say 6080 King's Castle. I have wanted it since I was five years old, and it is on my list of "must haves". I think I like it because it reminds me of real castles more than any other. :) It is closely followed by 6081. It was the (...) (26 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: DINOTRON: A cross-system hybrid MOC theme

(...) I am (mis?)remembering being at a con and playtesting (or trying to, it wasn't very baked yet) a version of an RPG based on the comic book. Circa late 80s early 90s?? Can't remember clearly, someone was filking nearby which of course washed (...) (26 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.publish)

8 new MOC wagons for your delectation

I have posted pictures of 8 new wagons: (URL) 4 hoppers and 4 steel-carrying wagons of various designs, and where appropriate, pictures of the prototype they are based on. You can also get to my last year's efforts from there, too. LMKWYT Huw (26 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Favorite castles?

(...) Now that I have YC, it's my favorite. It's made of sandstone, and it has lots of troops. Not just heroes, but regular guys. And I think it has high playabilty, and parts you can't get anywhere else. Plus I just like the way it looks. Those big (...) (26 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: NMRA

Although I am almost done with the track plan, I need to get with Tom Stangl and Zonker on one development we had - any crowd barriers have to be part of our layout, which means that having 2' roped off cuts our layout to 6'x11', which is pretty (...) Well, you have nothing to fear from me! :) I thought it was a wonderful April Fool's Joke! :) Of course, it makes me wonder why so many were fooled (I was the first to post that I thought it was a hoax).   IR decode disabling

Hi everybody, I try to disable the IR decoding, as it is written in lib_hb.c that it take 11% of CPU time, and that it is default ON. So I add the line at begin of main : bit_clear(0x39, 0b00000010); to disable it. I noticed no improvement, but when (...) (26 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Next Meeting/BrikWars game

Well, I would like to get the ball rolling on the date of the next BrikWars game. Some of us (Eric, Neil, Shaun, and myself) had tossed around a couple of ideas, and I think the one that seemed to float the best was the last Saturday in April, the (...)   Re: DINOTRON: A cross-system hybrid MOC theme

(...) Probably yes. I was going to include it in my list of versions of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, but I was unsure if it ever existed, or if *I* was misremembering, so I left it off. I think a big room with a big table or better yet just some 4x8 or 3x6 folding tables that we can move around on our own with a sufficant number of chairs would be great. If I have time (...)   Re: What 15 LEGO Pieces are still made today?

(...) OK Wayne, you got 14 out of 15. The 2x2 plate didn't come into being until 1963. The item you have missing is the the one that has changed the most.... The 1x1 round brick. This brick had a pure cylinder outer facing from 1956 until circa (...) (26 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)
