I like to make original creations that do not exist in real life as an artistic/engineering exercise. This has been somewhat of a hinderence because there is nothing to compare them to. (Unlike almost everything else on Lugnet. I did like the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

I bought the Model Team 5561 in KMart in Brisbane a few weeks ago, but I think the price was higher, about $69 (or maybe $79). Even at that price, I thought it was a good deal. The 5561's got lots of pieces, so takes a while to build (which is good (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

It has been posted that sets 5533 and 6089 are on sale for $24.99. I went to my ZanyBrainy earlier tonight and was able to get the sale prices a day early.
