Re: Lego Direct (was Re: Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!)

(...) How is there any favoritism on the part of S@H? Anyone can call S@H herself at 7 am on Monday if she really wants to know what the specials are before Tom posts them to LUGNET. It probably takes more time to update the site than it does to (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego) !

  Re: Clone wars

(...) No, just that basically lugnet is for LEGO, not off-brands ;-) However, if you want to discuss clone-brands, the best place to do so is .off- topic.clone-brands; not only are the people who read it interested in off brands, but also people who (...)   Re: Another wave of creations at Moonbase Io

Coooool. Personally, I like the compactness of the Sauron, with the triple engine cluster. Reminds me of a Cylon Raider. Very nice. The Mandrill has some good solutions using the ThrowBots pieces. You could easily make an "armored" version as well. (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Lego Direct (was Re: Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!)

(...) Note: Larry has every right to buy any set he wants to in any quantity he wants to...if he can get 10,000,000 of a set, wants them and can pay for them, then that is _his_ business. Not yours. So, he happened to take the Nebula Outposts when (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego) !

  Re: NC people

A roll call would be a good idea and it should probably be it's own thread. For the rest of your questions, the idea of first getting together revolved around efforts to set up a display at a train show last fall. It never worked out but the desire (...)   Re: Throwbot foot

(...) Fredrik you are right, the axle is too thin. Steve, the reason is because I modelise the parts with a CAD CAM program then I convert the part to dat with my program STL2AT.   The definition of insanity(re: the thread that ate Lugnet)

Is not one of the definitions of insanity: "doing the same thing over and over again, but anticipating different results?"   Re: 6641.dat Technic Changeover Catch

(...) I agree with you Fredrik, but to modelise this part, I used the same orientation as in the mockup made by Jonathan Wilson. Changing this orientation will change the models using this part.
