  Re: More Royal Blue pictures

(...) Wow. The one picture before suggested it, but these new ones confirm it! That is some very clever construction. I love the use of different directions to achieve the desired result. (forward, up, upside down) Which previously published train (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: More Royal Blue pictures

(...) Agreed. As I recall, B&O was on a shoestring and couldn't afford a brand new streamliner, so the skirting was put on a loco, and new paint on some old stock as a poor second best. This was the depression, after all. Not every road was as rich (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  WTB: 6276 - Eldorado Fortress

I am looking for a COMPLETE 6276 from the pirate series. Set doesnot have to be in box, with instructions, or even mint. Set must have all pieces, prefreabley original pieces.   Re: Lego Direct (was Re: Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!)

(...) Its not about missing the deal, or who got what. I have stated this several times. My comments were about TLC policies or lack thereof and giving fans equal access to out of production stock. That's it. If you think this is about some (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) How is there any favoritism on the part of S@H? Anyone can call S@H herself at 7 am on Monday if she really wants to know what the specials are before Tom posts them to LUGNET.   Re: Clone wars

No, just that basically lugnet is for LEGO, not off-brands ;-) However, if you want to discuss clone-brands, the best place to do so is .off- topic.clone-brands; not only are the people who read it interested in off brands, but also people who (...)   Re: Another wave of creations at Moonbase Io

Coooool. Personally, I like the compactness of the Sauron, with the triple engine cluster. Reminds me of a Cylon Raider. Very nice. The Mandrill has some good solutions using the ThrowBots pieces. You could easily make an "armored" version as well. (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Note: Larry has every right to buy any set he wants to in any quantity he wants to...if he can get 10,000,000 of a set, wants them and can pay for them, then that is _his_ business. Not yours.   Re: NC people

A roll call would be a good idea and it should probably be it's own thread. For the rest of your questions, the idea of first getting together revolved around efforts to set up a display at a train show last fall. It never worked out but the desire (...)
