What have been your experiences US Customs duties on Lego shipments from Europe? Do they let them in without charging duties? If not, how much do they typically charge? I've never been charged anything; the large package of used stuff I got from Germany yesterday was stamped "US Customs Passed Free" or something to that effect. It is not painted. I took some pictures and they turned out like that as well. You need to use all natural lighting and turn off the flash when photographing Lego. The flash changes the color due to the reflection, as well as the poor color digital (...) (26 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

You could always "accidentally" stick a MegaBlock plate back there. It would be obscured from view and I don't think they have markings on the studs, but maybe they do. I made the mistake of viewing the pics right before bedtime. Which explains the following dream: I was frying some white LEGO bricks (the color I always seem to be short of!).
