  Re: Tiger 1 WW2 Tank

:-p Sorry! Thank you very much though for counting. Man, that's going to be expensive! I figured I'd buy 10 sets just to be safe. Approx. $60 will give me enough for two tanks or so! The guy that sits next to me at work is a big time scale modeler. (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

(...) Way cool dude! Definitely link it into Port Block. With all the work you're doing you're becoming the unofficial "Chairman Stud" <bows in awe "Oh hail great master, holder of the ABS">. After a good session last night with the LEGO I'll have (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

  Re: Flex tube material

(...) Three other examples of gray pneumatic tubing are the ones that came in 6160 Sea Scorpion, 6180 Hydro Search Sub, and 6198 Sting Ray Stormer (all 1998 Aquazone sets). Each of those tube is gray and 19-studs-long. --Todd (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Flex tube material

(...) Well, actually, they're just plain old pneumatic tubing, nothing special. They're much shinier nowadays than they were back in the late 70's, but it's still just basically the same old pneumatic tubing. Another color these have come in is (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Tiger 1 WW2 Tank

Eric, You've made me sit here and count them!! On the Tiger there are 64 links on each side, however, the Challenger has 74. Obviously, different wheel arangements will call for more or less links. Buying 200 links will give you enough deffy. "grin" (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: Flex tube material

(...) I think you've confused Flex System tubing with Pneumatic tubing. The rubber tubes which come in 8002 and 8250, for instance, aren't Flex System tubes -- they're rubber pneumatic tubes. --Todd (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)

"Christopher Jeris" <cjeris@math.mit.edu> wrote in message news:FqGDMC.HvE@lugnet.com... [snip (...) Actually, all of these sets use the rigid tubes. The soft tubes are only used on 8250/8299, 8002, and (as someone else -- sorry I can't remember (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Multi-piece decals

(...) Don't affix them in the first place. :-) Seriously, I've never liked the decals, and always go through a little "sticker shock" when I'm asked to place them across a span of bricks. *shudder* Are you looking to permanantly remove them? There's (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)
