  Re: Organizing the LDraw CD-ROM

(...) Wouldn't try that. Too many people don't have VB runtimes installed, and just throwing them on the CD doesn't work (unless you want to make people install them first, which is a pain, but could work). I tried going this route when I was (...) (26 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  An acronym FAQ

I was thinking of creating an Acronym FAQ. I've noticed that many people don't know certain acronyms and can't figure them out from the context. Do you think there is need for one? I know that earlier ones were made but long ago, and new acronyms (...) (26 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: Organizing the LDraw CD-ROM

Re: New "knight's kingdom" feature on lego.com

(...) The problem w/ webtv+ is that is very limited....it's a set top browser....it is incapable of downloading anything....I can e-mail, bookmark, do a webpage like craig (well maybe not like Craigo), and access much of the internet. The bonus, (...) (26 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: An acronym FAQ

(...) Well, *I* certainly need one, so there's at least an audience of one. I remember some of them from the old RTL days: newcomers would certainly benefit. I'd suggest beraking it down into sections like "LEGO related" (AFOL, BURP, POOP, RTL) and (...) (26 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: DC motor

It sounds like you might have a mechanical, rather than electrical, problem. Servos typically have some sort of stop nub on the gears so that they can't rotate past a certain point. If you don't cut off the nub with a hobby knife or saw, the motor (...) (26 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  POV or L3P help

I'm having problems with models contianing only one part. No matter what color the part is, it gets rendered grey. Is this a feature or a bug or what? Any help is appreciated. --Patrick S-L (26 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)
