Re: Star Wars a loss for Lego?

This was my first choice, which I felt was a tad odious for a 'family' forum. *grin* -Cheese (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: pbFORTH needs better uploading, docs

(...) Getting a working legOS development evironment no longer takes a day. On Windows plateforms it only takes the time to download WinlegOS.exe (5.6Meg) and running the installer (a few minutes).   Re: Army size (Castle World)

(...) 1) In your realm, inside your fortress, castle, or other military place, your army is as reasonably big (key word) as you want it to be. Be logical. In an e-mail exhange with Dan Siskind, he informed me that his Bloodstone Castle has an army (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  6755 - Sherriff's Lockup

Does anyone know where I can get the above in the UK? A new one in an unopened box would be preferable but seeing as it's not going to stay in the box for long I guess I'll take a complete set with instructions... ??? Andrew. (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.western)

Re: What are you going to do with all those half price 8448's?

(...) I tried hard to make it out of standard 8448 pieces. Obviously the extra 4 cylinders came from another model. Also the wing mirrors are lego system slopes And there might be the odd few fastenings that are different But otherwise all the beams (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Shopko has further reductions on clearance

I stopped by Shopko today and they have reduced all their clearance items to ~2/3 off retail. They had 1998 ninja, adventurers, cyber and rescue. They will scan the lower price even if they are not marked on clearance. Rose (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  [CW] Two new creatures ...

Tim Coats sent me two creatures that he designed (which I think will set a precedent for creatures). They are very well thought out and described. Check them out (there is a link in today's update at the main site): (URL) pn (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

I am just wondering - does anyone else get an incredible sense of 'need' to build? I have started drawing my ideas out just so that when I can find time to build all of my thoughts - I will remember them... I am inspired.   Re: source for big 40-tooth gears

(...) I know, bad etiquette following up to my own post. Yes, the Pitsco-Dacta catalog does have a combo pack of 40-tooth & 24-tooth gears, but I'm already swinning in 24-toothers & was hoping to find a way to get strictly 40- toothers. Plus, that (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Army size (Castle World)

(...) Logical is good. Another option is to have "real" armies be better than "virtual" armies... I'm also thinking a little bit "period" here as well, where a huge army was anything more than a couple hundred men... How about having people's (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Star Wars a loss for Lego?

This is probably due to the amount of money LEGO agreed to pay for the rights to even use the Star Wars paraphernalia. Wasn't it rumored to be around $50 million? I may be grossly out of whack here (over or under) ??? EC (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Watch those package seals!

I had to call customer service to replace the Boba-Fett backpack/helmet piece for the same reason...   Re: Looking for Status again, GB2 GB4 GB5 Junk2 Top of list

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) I just built a new nanofig-scale dreadnaught starship (1) last night, in about three hours from concept to just-need-to-attach-guns.
