Once again, those who run 6 wide have proven themselves to not care about
those of use who model 8 wide.  They probably don't have handicapped access
to their layout, either.  :-)

It is unfortunate that many layouts can't handle oversized trains.  I am
hoping that is not the case when the BayLTC layout gets up and running.  I
figure that if my UP Diesel can make it through a layout, then anything
short of the largest of Steam Locos, the Allegheny or UP Big Boy, are safe.
Have you actually tested the layout for the largest size train possible at 6
and/or 8 wide?  Just testing to see what can and can't go around the loop
will alert you to possible problems before you run into them.

OK, fess up, who owns it?  They obviously own too many Metroliners, • they can
afford to do crazy stuff like this ;-)

maybe you should look at the title of the picture, it's self-explanatory.

Crazy?  I kinda like it, although it is a little skinny;-)  Proper • looking:

I told the owner it was kinda narrow, although our current layout won't
run anything 8wide.  We had a minor design flaw where most engines • couldn't
approach the station because they would hit the platform coming through
the turn.
