| I am working on a lego timeline of my earlier years (building the lego models that represent past years) and am stuck. I can't remember what years the 8448 supercar, 8466 off roader, 8436 truck, 8421 crane truck, came out. Any help regardig the (...) (14 years ago, 16-Jan-12, to lugnet.technic)

I am expexting it to be able to lift around 10 lbs at the full height of 25 feet, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 lbs with only 5 feet of (...) |
| Looks like 2008 will be another crap year for Technic. (2004 anyone? that year alone almost made me gave up buying any new Lego). Oh well, can't complain too much, we had 3 great consecutive years (2005 gave us the mighty 8421, 2006 a large (...) (18 years ago, 17-Jan-08, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) I don't agree with you: 1) This is not what I call a "great looking model". 2) It is not in the price range of 4 x 50 (I'm talking about a bigger model than for example 8275 or 8421!!) 3) This model doesn't require any special elements at (...) (18 years ago, 5-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) Hi Kelly, As a regular buyer of Lego (Technic is my favourite) the three things I consider when looking at a new set (not in any order): 1. Functionality. What does this model do? 2. Useful pieces/colors. What else could I make? 3. Design. (...) (18 years ago, 5-Oct-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

| Who am I? Nobody, but I've got big ideas. For Lego to do. :-) I think Technic has a great untapped potential. There are many parts, gears, tools and techniques! Yay! But the sets are not up to scratch. They are good, realistic models, but are only (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Take the 8421 technic crane for example.. came with 2 cylinders, however, with a little thinkin and adjusting pieces, it now has 4... add an air tank to it.. now has excellant lifting (...)
