Here’s the first of hopefully many cars in the same style of the Future
Bike/Turbo Cycles. That is, oversized, and outragous.
Powered by dual turbine engines the Raptor has plenty of power to hang with even
the fastest of turbo cycles. Note the high speed turn-in boosters behind the
front wheels. And also, the stablilty control boosters in front of the rear
wheels.

Wow! Nice work! You did a great job updating muscle cars..this looks like what
would happen if a Lamborghini got a steroid injection:)
The work you did with all the curved parts really make the mean sleek look, and
the chrome...nice!

My initial, and secondary reaction to this amazing MOC are not appropriate for
public forums. But let me say that it ended with several exclamation points.
This is the baddest, sweetest ride I’ve ever seen in steel, plastic, or on
paper. Ford, this is what the Mustang should look like in 10 years.

Wow! My new favorite car moc. This is what an actual car should look like. I
am tired of every car looking the same these days. Great use of the new curved
slopes to give the car great angles. I love it :)

Being a Z-car owner and enthusiest, I think it subconsciously came out looking a
lot like the new 350Z. I went with muscle car though, because of it's size and
2+2 seating. :)

Steve, that is fantastic! I cannot believe how cool that MOC is.
I have been thinking of Air Cars for my lego universe, your car is
great inspiration. I can just imagine something like the Raptor
but with antigrav and thrusters instead of wheels.
What is that part you used for a “hood”?

Yeah, but to send it in to LEGO, you’d have to prove you built it in an hour out
of a random parts assortment. :-)

Well what good does that do them? I guess cheap and easy is more important that
cool and unique. Oh well. :P

It's pretty simple actually. The fenders and engines are angled with 1x2 hinge
bricks. The canopy with the finger joint that you can see on the hood. And the
booster behind the front wheel is actually angled with ball&joint pieces.

You should know that I made this my wallpaper, shared with co-workers, dreampt
of building something similar, and generally droolled over it all day long.
I've never been more drawn to ANY car-shaped thing ever. I'm not a car guy.

The thought crossed my mind, a single technic fig with a really elaborate
console would be cool. But I planned this to fit in the same world as the turbo
cycles which seat minifigs. (Plus I don't have any technic figs or have the
desire to own any. :P )

They're actually chrome cylinders from the Naboo Fighter with the smaller VR
(34.5x14VR I think) tires stretched over them.

HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?!?!?!? That’s absolutely, unequivocally, (one of ?)
THE most fantastic MOC(s) EVER!!!!!! It’s so good it’s almost impossible to
believe its real. my gut reaction when first seeing it was disgust with my own
pathetic Lego atttempts, since, compared with my (relatively) amateurish MOC, I
couldn’t see trying to surpass it. but i love the brick. Your bricks looke
better tho’. Dang!

The car is great -- I think the grey engines in the rear are my favorite part.
But, what I’m the most impressed with is your photography! Your pictures always
have the greatest angles. When I take a step back, it almost looks like an ad
from a magazine.
