I believe it's "La République," not "La Républic." But the last time I used my
French to any significant extent was in 1983, so you may want a second
opinion...

In the crew shot - does the other officer have a red hair piece, or is
it brown and that's just how the colors came out? If you painted it,
what paint did you use?

It was actually a tan hair piece, but I edited the colour in Photoshop
because I'm planning for him to have brown hair once my S@H order arrives.
Due to the extremely poor quality of that part of the scan, I ended up
settling for a reddish-brown (which actually looks better than the real
brown will probably look).

Another note about the crew picture -- the background was actually the
underside of a green baseplate. I changed the colour, and was quite pleased
with the futuristic steel-plate look I got.

What would happen if the nautilus gets blown up or something like that? Would

On a bad day, yes. On a good day, I reckon that the LSC would build a new
ship, the Nautilus-A or something.

Well, according to the catchy propaganda at the bottom, it's the LSC that saves
the Galaxy, not the Nautilus alone (or itself). So if the LSC was destroyed,
yes, the Galaxy would be lost (to what, or from what, only Paul knows). Were
the Nautilus itself destroyed, perhaps they'd double up on duty for her sister
ship--named, naturally, the "Narwhal" to keep in the submarine-class theme? It
sure beats the "LSC Sea Squirt" or the "LSC Manganese Nodule." Can't fault a
guy for trying...well, OK, you can, but I'll be unhappy about it and fuss a lot.

80 Days". So on the contrary to being a hillbilly, he probably has a good

Well, a lot of isolated (hillbilly) regions use funny names like Phineas (I
guess) and Cletus, so it's not such a strange questions.
