Dave, you need to answer these.  I'll get them online once you post an answer.

Yes.  I think the rules state this.  Dave should probably post a photo of the
game board which we can put online.

4) does the colour selection have to be automated (programatic) based on
the start square, or can it be manually set up prior to the run?

I think this one I can answer:  Either way is fine.  I think some were really
smart and ran an autocalibration every start anyways, or you can have two
programs.
