Fana’briques, that’s LEGO in all its forms, meeting fans like you, sharing
experiences, shopping parts and sets, enjoying your time, snacking and more!
This event takes place in Rosheim, Alsace, East of France, the 24th, 25th and
26th June of June.

By passing by and exhibiting, you will find all this but also a public
attendance.

The main theme this year is fire. Two real old-timer fire trucks are presented,
and many Lego fire trucks, fire men can be seen at this exhibition. But of
course, many others wanderfull and extraordinary creations will be shown.

If you cannot join us in Rosheim, you can follow this show on the internet on

The town is Helsingborg in Sweden, the shop is a combined
bicycle-and-toy-shop(at Södergatan/Bollbrogatan).

This shop is still in business (well) and has almost no LEGO left, seems it's
become even harder to shop there since the old man refuses to give prices or
sell stuff not in the window and tells you to leave (but this might be put down
to hating teens, it was a TFOL experiencing this). But he's retiring soon,
according to the local rumor.

Hello,

My latest creation is a model of the art museum KunstHausWien in Vienna, Austria, designed by famous Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

See all pictures in this folder

Reference pictures for comparison

The model was presented at the Danish LUG Byggepladen’s annual event Klodsfest 2008 and was part of the train layout.

The model uses plenty of SNOT techniques and slopes to mimic the original as closely as possible and it took ages to complete since no area of the facade are alike.

This is not my first Hundertwasser model. In 2004, I built a model of his most famous construction, the Hundertwasser Haus, also located in Vienna. See original post and Brickshelf folder.

All comments are welcome!

Esben
