Todd,

I've used IPrint to make mouse pads and mugs using various logos from our car
club, and they have turned out real well.  They rely heavily on the quality of the
original graphics (my graphics, saved at 300dpi, look better than others at lower
res), but since YOU can make high res graphics in dozens of sizes, it would be
very easy to make an IPrint item turn out well.  The nice thing is you can save
the design when ordering ONE to see how it turns out, then make a bulk order if
you like the final product.

I was at Mall of America last night and I had a hat made at a
place that does custom embroidery on baseball caps.

Weren't we going to do that through Lugnet eventually, with a
specific Lugnet pattern or something?  I think the Lugnet logo
(the traingle and "Lugnet") on a black cap might look good.

Eventually, yes.  Suzanne and I have been talking about creating a formal
licensing program for the logo and also about contracting with a few companies
who can do things like this in quantities of 100 or more.  We think it would
be fun to put the logo on mouse pads, coffee mugs, hats, T-shirts, and maybe a
few other things.

This licensing program will require our approval prior to using the logo in
any way, since we're extremely picky about details such as the quality of the
rendering and color matching technologies used, legal things like the
exact placement of the TM symbol, and generally presenting a wholesome and
consistent image.

Currently, the only approved use of the logo outside of www.lugnet.com is:
