I was at Mall of America last night and I had a hat made at a place
that does custom embroidery on baseball caps.
It's bright red. Pretty close to TLG Logo red, actually. On the front it
says "I read RTL" in big letters, and on the back (in an arch across
the back opening) it says "and LUGNET too!" in smaller letters.
Pretty cute. It set me back 29 bucks but I didn't care.
I plan to wear this on opening day at Carlsbad, so I should be easy to
spot.
If there's a lot of interest in these hats, I could have them run off
more. 10% off for 10, 20% off for 25, The prices get a lot better as
the quantity goes up, down to 8 bucks each if I buy 100. Somehow I doubt
there's that much interest, though.
John Neal and I have been talking about running off some tee shirts too.
Those would be a lot less expensive as I imagine John would only be
going for cost recovery in his pricing since he does that for a living.

| Hi Larry, I would buy one including shipping I'd pay $25...I'd prefer <20 but I would spring for $25 to have such an original. Too bad it would never hae a LEGO Logo, a Lugnet logo, and the RTL thing. LEGO might do there own hat, but that would lose (...) (25 years ago, 27-Feb-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)
