Re: A non-AFOL mom asks for more girl sets on the shelves!

(...) I've actually started seeing Belville sets at retail for the first time that I can recall. Local TRUs have had two different sets (one $30-50ish, and one $10-15ish) tucked over to one side, but I think one of those stores had them marked for (...) And don't forget Paradisa - girls themed, but mini-fig scale, so they can play with nieces/nephews/brothers etc. (16 years ago, 27-Sep-08, to lugnet.dear-lego)

A non-AFOL mom asks for more girl sets on the shelves!

Hey TLG, While I was checking out the selection of Lego at my local Target, a mom struck up a conversation with me over her disappointment that there was only one pink basic building tub that she could get for her daughter. She said that her (...) (16 years ago, 27-Sep-08, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Another part I'd LOVE to see in its own two-pack

Crater plates in tan. This would avoid any bley kerfuffle AND the color would match the landscapes of so many Classic Space box pictures! Plus, they'd have the studs in the craters to increase building possibilities. Many an AFOL friend of mine has (...) (16 years ago, 27-Sep-08, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Please, TLG, just one part, JUST ONE! Pretty please?

(...) Indeed it would! God Bless, Nathan (16 years ago, 6-Sep-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

Please, TLG, just one part, JUST ONE! Pretty please?

I've been dreaming of a Classic Space-themed, multi-colored trans-dome space station for years now, and all I need is this part: Panel 10 x 10 x 12 Corner = (URL) in trans-red. What would a Space Police I relaxation dome be without a big trans-red (...) (16 years ago, 2-Sep-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX) !

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

I really cannot see how LEGO can ethically release this kit since it was created as an exclusive for the employees of Vesta. I would be sorely disappointed in TLG if they did such a thing. "Limited ediition" and "exclusive" mean something. As "The (...) (16 years ago, 25-Aug-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

(...) You could buy 4, and put Port Block up on legs. (16 years ago, 25-Aug-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

(...) I claim that I might buy two, and I assure you that it would save my LEGO (Port Block, critically affected by the rising sea levels resulting from global warming) from financial ruin. Richard Still baldly going... (16 years ago, 25-Aug-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

(...) Perhaps a claim that someone might buy two, and an assurance that it would save LEGO from financial ruin? Cheers Richie Dulin CO Legeaux (16 years ago, 16-Aug-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

(...) If that doesn't convince TLG to release it, I don't know what will. (16 years ago, 15-Aug-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

(...) I've literally just signed up for a LUGNET membership just to post here because... I WANT THIS SET! (Or at least a generic one, not necessarily Vestas-branded) If I could only buy one more Lego set ever, this would be the set, as it is the (...) (...) I agree with that too from Italy! As I've recently been to Billund, Denmark, the real ones are everywhere, so I would like to put one in a "countryside" layout... Alex Cordero (...) (16 years ago, 11-Aug-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

(...) Yes I agree. The set should be avaiable to everyone. A set like that should be spread and shown everywhere, also for the important idea to sensibilize people to alternative energies. Only AFOLS can do that, I don't think most of Vestas (...) (16 years ago, 24-Jul-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

This is one set that I would buy if released to the public. Great design, PF, pieces on different colors and awesome theme! (16 years ago, 24-Jul-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

Dear Lego and Vestas Please release set 4999 worldwide. First for Vestas it would be (and already is) great PR. For Lego you got the demand. It's a great set that blends the style of 20 years ago with the present tech of today. (16 years ago, 20-Jul-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

(...) I would almost certainly buy one of these sets. I would have it at every train show that I participate in. -Ken (16 years ago, 19-Jul-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGO set 4999 Vestas (please release it)

(...) Yes! Though I appose the limit of 4 - since I would need more than 4 to make a wind farm. Jennifer Boger www.Peeron.com (16 years ago, 18-Jul-08, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, FTX)
