Only because I don’t have that bird piece in black and, as I mentioned in my
response to Dave, this MOC came together in a rush to debut on Halloween, so
I couldn’t order a black bird off of bricklink (indeed, I didn’t even
reallize the bird came in black until I saw Brendan’s latest Brick Testament
offering a couple of days ago).

Yeah, well I don’t have the black bird also. Hopefully TLC will decide to
reissue the ‘Black Mountain Fortress’ (6081) on 2004.
