    Cathedral Boardgame —Gary Thomas
Hi, I've posted some photos on Brickshelf of my Lego-version of the boardgame Cathedral: (URL) a cool little game that I've owned for a few years, and I finally got around to recreating it in Lego. For those of you unfamiliar with Cathedral, it's a (...) (22 years ago, 23-Sep-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.castle) !

        Re: Cathedral Boardgame —Bruce Hietbrink
Gary, Beautiful execution. I especially like the gray cathedral piece. It's kind of an abstract city. Oh, when I was looking at that, the first things I thought of were the houses and hotels from monopoly. A big monopoly board would be a pretty cool (...)         Re: Cathedral Boardgame —Jason Spears
(...) First, those pieces you have created are quite nice. The board is also quite attractive. Second, I have to say that that game seems like it would be quite fun. I looked around the websites it suggests to buy a copy, it is sort of expensive (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)

Unfortunately, it does appear to be expensive, as the only version available seems to be made out of hardwood. The version that I have owned for a long time (...)        (...) Thanks for the nice comments everyone, I appreciate them. I haven't looked in a while, but I think the price of the small wooden set was around $30 US, you used to be able to find them at the Game Keeper stores out here in California. The (...)            Re: Cathedral Boardgame —Larry Pieniazek
(...) You did an awesome job on these! I'd buy a set of these if you made up instructions and parts.. how hard are the parts to come by? There are currently custom kit sellers selling Chess pieces and boards but no other games that I know of yet... (...) (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)

           Re: Cathedral Boardgame —Gary Thomas
(...) Thanks Larry, I appreciate it. Yeah it'd be a really cool set to sell a kit of, especially since the parts are relatively easy to come by - basically just bricks, tiles, and slopes. It seems a little sketchy though since the game's (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.gaming)

          Re: Cathedral Boardgame —Allan Bedford
(...) 1) The wooden pieces may be more expensive to produce than molded plastic ones. But having seen this game up close, the wooden pieces make all the difference. 2) Apparently it's quite possible to make your own game......... for free. Using (...)      (...) Oh dude, that's rad. Wow, that's almost exact, pretty cool. I used steeper slopes, but that's about it.. Very cool. I like the technic brick cross detail you added. Base looks nice in dark grey too. Good job. I'll post a dat file of mine in a (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.gaming)
