I had been building a 1940s(?) Brooklyn Street Car when I vacationed in San
Francisco recently and saw many different paint schemes. I decided to build
one in a different color:

Oh, baby, Jonathan-- those are so sweet! I just LOVE the colors, especially the
orange and red. They look terrific-- you really nailed a PCC trolley! And 8 wide
to boot? Icing on teh cake! :d
|
Also, this weekend I finished up a NJT PATH train:

Not really being well versed in building trains I am pleased with the results
of all and am going to get working on a Red Bird subway car next.
Enjoy!

The PATH car looks really nice as well-- lots of nice details in there. That
dark blue/light gray combo really pops. Great photography, too!
Thanks for sharing!

Oh Wow! These are very beautiful. The PCC Trolleys are my favorite but the PATH
train is really nice too.

Arrgh! I wish I had known you were coming to SF - BAYLUG would have had a
get-together to meet you!

thanks, Paul. Actually, we met at Bricks By The Bay. Though, I am sure we both
met way to many people to remember all of them.
Best,

Its the typically meaningless jibber jabber that uses your screen real estate
when you look at Facebook.

Is that some sort of setting you have for LUGNET or perhaps MOCPages?

I cant quite tell if Im being trolled here as I believe youve mentioned
before that you tend not to waste too much time on the broader internet. So...

Trolled? By me??? Shirley you jest;-)
Tim, you might find it surprising that, not only do I know about Facebook, I
have an account there as well! So I know about the gibberish ads on the right
side of the page. What I didnt understand was how or why Jonathans
trolleys *showed up* on your FB page.
But I like the idea overall that you think Im messing with you! Anytime one can
keep one of the Evil Tims™ guessing, it is indeed a Good Thing® :-)

Hehehe. John has Facebook. Well I never! I mean the gibberish in the center of
the page, not the gibberish in the ads. All the status updates, who is friends
with who, and occassionally something useful like a picture of a tram.
Ummm... Ive never really understood how the FB gibberish page works other than
that it makes some pitiful and largely unsuccesful attempt to keep it recent and
that it cant decide if its running on my local timezone or the server
timezone. Neither of which help much.
Or in summary: I have Jonathan as a FB friend and at some point I saw his two
LEGO trolleys pop up in the gibberish which I promptly checked out.
Clear as mud?

Are you sitting down? A friend even talked me into signing up for Twitter!
Relax, though; Ive never been to the Twitter site since then:-)
I dont actually use FB that often, either (Maybe once or twice a week)

Well, theres the answer: Jonathan is your friend and he posted a notice of
it on FB. Now that makes sense. I seriously thought that somehow a FB bot
directed a paid advertisement from MOCPages to your page or something Orwellian
like that! LOL
Not at all!
