Without seeing the moderated gallery, I can still say I like this. Cartoony but with good bits of realistic detail. The legs lend themselves to the caricature of a butler, but they just look so darn weak that I feel bad for the poor bot. I’m sure his master kids him all the time about his chicken legs. :(

Fun stuff, Joe!

Ryan,

Thanks! This was one happy accident after another in building:) I think I was actually thinking about Woody Allen in Sleeper (a really funny movie, I might add) while I was building the butler.

And the legs are goofy, but the whole model is a whimsical thing anyways, so I wasn’t too concerned with realism. Sad thing is, RoboJeeves can only goosestep. But if the master kids peeve him off, he can punt them a good 40-50 yards:)

Ha! Cool! Insure that Dr. Terrible doesn’t botjack him and turn him from domestic servant into a weapon of mass confusion.

LOL! RoboJeeves has botjacking insurance from Lloyds of London...or is it his legs are insured? Well, something like that:)

And Dr. Terrible better have a better insurance policy before he messes with RoboJeeves!

.space was lacking a robo butler. You have filled a void. This model is important, I say! Cross post to .mecha and declare to them that you are the best robot butler builder in the world.

OMG, that is so paparazzi’ish!!!! I love it. Now you need to build one with a camera that can lurk around at Brickfest and take all kinds of cool unauthorized pictures.

Very nice job! It has the real funny characteristic elements of a butler, small legs, funny head. Does the butler has a girlfriend yet? Your model reminds me of a funny model I have made a while ago with some bricks I picked up, but so far didn’t present her. Maybe she could be the cleaner in the same house... I’ll see if I can dig some pics of her or else take some.

Oooh La La! Now that would be groovy. Do it. It is a moral imperative.

Ok here is my ‘maidbot’ attempt.

And if you like you can see the back of this maid here

The shoulderpart is too big, but hey it was just some experimenting. With the bricks I could choose on an event I created this with a lot of fun.

On to more bots!
