(...) I did, very much so. Thanks! The details and interiour is amazing! The only thing that could be improved (?) would be if the two sides were not identical. IMHO. Or perhaps not. I can't make up my mind. On one hand, a non-symetrical ship is (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

I don't know how much it's been done, but I really dig the smooth floors. Way nice touch! Looking a lot like the Yamato, turrets are extra shooty. The white makes the interior more sterile like I think. Not sure I totally dig the all white, but untl (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) The detail is commendable. I especially like the 1x4 fence pieces with the star wars tech tiles underneath. little details like that really make the ship. The all-white interior really makes me think of an 80's sci fi show like Buck Rogers. :) (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

I think it's the greatest ship I've seen so far! A-W-E-S-O-M-E ! ! ! Terry (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) amazing! If I were Spaceforce I'd buy as many of these as I could! What I find especially nice: * The underside. Being a SHIP-builder myself I understand how difficult it is to design something that big and have it look good from -absolutely- (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

Dan, I think what I love most about Dragonstar is the foreward fin ... gives the ship a naval feel! I love all the detailing, I was drooling over all of this stuff! I think Dragonstar has a very naval feel to it -- it actually, to me, embodies the (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

Hey Dan, This is just an amazing ship. It was great to see it in person on Saturday. One suggestion I have is that you should really get a website, or even just an account on MOCpages, just so we can get some commentary to go with the pictures (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

Dan, this....(sniff)...is so BEAUTIFUL...(tear rolls down cheek)...I need to compose myself... This is very very very very very very very very good! I will now use the new dragonstar as the benchmark for military SHIPs. Now, everyone, don't get me (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) Beautiful! If i recall correctly, your last post about the dragonstar turned into a free for all of conflicting opinions. I think this revision put all those to rest. This ship is probably the best one i've ever seen, and im sure most other (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

Wow! That rocks. Yellow is one of my least favorite colors next to gray but it looks really good on the 'Dragonstar.' Not much else to say that hasn't alreadly. -Mike Petrucelli (21 years ago, 22-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

Dude. I truely envy you. Even if I had the resources, I don't think I would have been able to come up with something that fricken cool! The dragonstar has definetly become my favorite capital ship you've built. (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) Snip wicked cool! I really like the smooth white interiors & various floor treatments. very nice realistic detailing both inside & out. great overall form too-very well thought out. i'd like to see more of the hallway with "bunks"(?) & is (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) Congratulations Dan on a fantastic looking ship. I particularly love the thoughtful inclusion of maneuvering nozzles, and those interior floors are all really inspiring. Doub ist der Floor-Meister! Cheers, Paul (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

I have a couple of questions for you, Dan. In the picture of the "bunk corridor", with the woman at one end, on either side of her are what appear to be the same type of black door frame as the one behind her. At first, I assumed this to be the (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Dan (the man, et al) Spectacular interiors. That Engine, incredible. That Bridge, minimalist yet detailed (love the steering deal for the navagator) The Exterior, chock fulla greebly goodness The Mine Rack and droid fighters, excellent. Like the (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

(...) Yes indeedy I did! Dan, as has already been said, this is an AMAZING update to an AMAZING SHIP! In lugnet.space, Mark Sandlin writes: (...) Yes, I agree. Very Tantive IV-ness, although like others mentioned too. I really dig the flooring and (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Holy @!!#$@&!!%$(!(*^&%!&...!^(&^(^(!! Dude. Wow. WOW. (Give me a minute to get my heart started again.) This ship has a very "naval" feel to it. Really nails the Leiji Matsumoto style, reminds me of the Arcadia. Love those fins The interior is cool (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

Dan, I have a question for you. Looking at the photos (this one, in particular: (URL) I noticed what appears to be a door on the "neck" of the bridge. Is that what it is? Looks like it would intersect with the ladder access to the bridge. (21 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonstar Reloaded!

This is great! Well Dan, I know I am late on this one, but I just had to say that this is one of the greatest creations I have seen since I infrequently check out LUGNET. I love the clean design of the interior and the manga-style look of the (...) (21 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.space)
