Re: Two really impressive 2002 sets ...

(...) Yea, those new curved pieces look really cool. I'm sure we will see them in more colors as time goes on. Perhaps we'll see some in a new round of Life on Mars. (...) Still, it's nice to have the hinge panels in tan in quantity. (...) True, it (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

I was hoping for a model team F1 racer..... Duq Chris Fenter (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2002)

  Re: Little tiny spots

Matt, From your comment, I'm glad I threw those bricks away. Your description is correct, although my specks are always off-white, very small and highly scattered. From your furniture reference, I would guess the spots are a by-product of a natural (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.1971, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Samsonite Info

(...) Hee-hee...are these specks VERY small (>1mm), and vary from bright white to pale grey? Are they nearly impossible to clean off without really digging at them with a fingernail or tool? I thought that they were paint at one time myself, when (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.1971, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Samsonite Info

Paul, I share your enthusiam when opening Samsonite packages. I am a fan of Lego history. I'll try to shed some light on a few of the items you mention. (...) I've got some of the Samsonite sets pictured on Brickshelf. Here's the page: (URL) also (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.1971, lugnet.db.brictionary)

Re: Lego Links Up with BMW Williams Formula 1 Team!!!!

This is great news! So far it was looking like it was going to a sad year for Technic (OK, so call me a Bionicle Burner -just hate those sets) but this has helped me revive my spirits for 2K2. Would be kind of nice to see Lego get together w/ (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2002)
