Re: Two really impressive 2002 sets ...

(...) A couple of things I have noticed: The cowling/fairing around the bottom of Slave 1 does not continue beneath the rotating jet arms. This seems anomalous or is the real thing like this too? Two of the hinged panels on the body open up to (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: Two really impressive 2002 sets ...

(...) Hey Shaun, thanks for posting this... wow, I wasn't expecting them to put that much more effort into the Ep2 Slave 1! (Hasbro is merely repainting the old mold for their 3 3/4" figure line, so I assumed Lego would simply recolour the old Slave (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: Two really impressive 2002 sets ...

(...) Those "crazy curved pieces" are mateable with the new slope system, and what's better, they include *half canopy* slopes--I just wish they were in greys, not blue and green. Perfect canopy! (albeit a POOP, but here it's (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

Wonderful vintage [Samsonite 1971] LEGO just arrived -- what a treat!

(SORRY, NO PHOTOS AT THIS TIME!) I just received a box of vintage LEGO which I purchased on eBay. It is set 120, the Samsonite Gift Set from ca. 1971. Some great pieces in it, and the box is to die for! Before I continue, I should point out a few (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.year.1971, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: New LEGO Racers

(...) Pretty interesting. I've only got 4583, so I haven't been able to do any side-by-side motor comparisions. Anyone done any time trials with real parts? (...) Yeah, they weren't too much of a problem. Except that working on them exposed some (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.year.2002)

  Re: New LEGO Racers

(...) Oh I love this Flash only stuff... :-( Can someone who can use Flash tell the rest of us what the content is? Frank (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.general)
