Re: More new sets for 2003 —Thomas Stangl
(...) The cars are nice, but the trolley/suspended car ROCKS! It looks like it is using 2 of the windshields from the Super Chief. One thing I found funny - the fire hydrant in the one set is as large as Spiderman! I think it would have been in (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

Re: More new sets for 2003 —Tim Courtney
(...) Look closer... those windshields are bowed out, not like the SFSC's flat-across windshield. There's the side panes that are set back from where they should be were it flat, that's how you can tell... Is this a new piece? I know I've seen it (...)         Re: More new sets for 2003 —Frank Filz
(...) I'm thinking the cable car may only be 4-wide, in which case the windshield could be the 3x4 car windshield (2437 or 4688). (URL) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

Re: More new sets for 2003 —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) It looks like 1x16 track to me. LFB (21 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

"Mr L F Braun" <braunli1@pilot.msu.edu> wrote in message news:HA0qKw.HMo@lugnet.com... (...) I think it is sections of 12v track adjacent to each other. See this scan from 4555: (URL) bet it essentially the same thing. The track appears to anchor (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

Re: More new sets for 2003 —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) That was what I meant. A double rail (given the wheels used to hold it up) would be necessary. I'll buy a few, I think. At least a few. best LFB (21 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

Re: More new sets for 2003 —Larry Pieniazek
(...) I have bad eyes but I thought these were not small train wheels but rather the same sort of wheels used in the Hogwarts Express. In that case only a single rail is required since they have flanges on both sides. (1) And further, and more (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.trains)

Re: More new sets for 2003 —Ray Sanders
(...) I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the wheels might be what BL calls x265, "Wheel 11 x 8 with Center Groove". Maybe they figured out a way to ride the groove on a rail. Ray (21 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

Re: More new sets for 2003 —Nathan Wells
(...) Looking at this pic: (URL) I'm fairly certain the cable car is 6 stud wide. Those cars are VERY cool! Nathan Wells (21 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

Re: More new sets for 2003 —Rick Cuijpers
(...) The cable car's windshield is the same as in Jack Stone set 4652 (in orange). Brickset has a very clear picture of this: (URL) So the cable car is 6-wide. Rick. (21 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)
