Re: More new sets for 2003

(...) The cable car's windshield is the same as in Jack Stone set 4652 (in orange). Brickset has a very clear picture of this: (URL) So the cable car is 6-wide. Rick. (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

Re: More new sets for 2003

(...) They are definitely 4 wide. Try to check out the brickset picture too: (URL) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.town)

Re: More new sets for 2003

(...) Nah, judging by the windshields (which looks like part 2437 (URL) the cars definitely looks 4 stud wide. My Mom thinks Uncle Ben's car looks like a British Mini! ;-D Nathan Wells (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.town)

Re: More new sets for 2003

(...) It's hard to say with the blurry pics, but I think they are 4-wide. The bridge that the taxi cab is on looks to be made from the track from the Racers theme. A 4-wide vehicle fits on that track just fine, but the 6-wide HP car is too wide. Ken (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.town)

Re: More new sets for 2003

(...) Err... I don't know how to say this, but, I have this horrible feeling that those cars could be 6-wide Harry-Potter style ones. I do hope they're 4-wide though. Jason J Railton (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.town)

Re: More new sets for 2003

(...) I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the wheels might be what BL calls x265, "Wheel 11 x 8 with Center Groove". Maybe they figured out a way to ride the groove on a rail. Ray (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)

Re: More new sets for 2003

(...) I have bad eyes but I thought these were not small train wheels but rather the same sort of wheels used in the Hogwarts Express. In that case only a single rail is required since they have flanges on both sides. (1) And further, and more (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.trains)

Re: More new sets for 2003

(...) That was what I meant. A double rail (given the wheels used to hold it up) would be necessary. I'll buy a few, I think. At least a few. best LFB (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003)
