Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) Did someone just turn up the "fun" knob? Imagine somewhere is a set designer, and a mischievous intern informs him of all the ways his model has been mocked... (26 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2001)

Always buy more LEGO you must!" Master Yoda, you look (...) (26 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) It looks to me like a kepi on his head. That would make 'Imperial Officer' the obvious suggestion. best LFB (26 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

  About these new LEGO Racers

What are your thoughts on the new LEGO Racers? (URL) many pieces do you think those cars are made of? And I thought Town Jr. 1-piece wheelsets were bad!!!! (26 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) I couldn't agree more!!! (...) Does Lucasfilm Licensing listen to complaints from fans? Maybe if enough people write and complain, they'll crack down on LEGO for making crap like this and it won't happen in 2002. (Well, I can dream, can't I?) (...)   2001 catalog

I saw that in the new 2001 catalog that the racers themes' numbers start with 45. I thought that those numbers were reserved for the 9V train theme. What are they doing with that idea? That is just six less 9V train models. (26 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) Yep, you're right about the cockpit fig not wearing a hood. In fact, if you look closely you can see that it is a classic smiley face (Palpatine's eyes are larger and his mouth is straight). Ken (26 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Not only they showed him twice in the catalogue, even the box is actually wrong! (It shows nearly the same as the catalogue: two Bobas) TLC also does this a lot for the Belville and Scala line.
