  Wild West links page

Hi all, Aargh! I can't help myself. In poring through Brickshelf for the animals list I made recently, I keep finding great creations to catalog. So, in my ongoing obsession to organize things, I present this links page of Wild West themed MOCs: (...)   Re: The Brick Tower

Hey all, I uploaded 10 more Brick Tower pictures to my brickshelf account. That brings the total to 40 now. Now that I have some more free time, being that it is summer, I think the updates will become somewhat more frequent than in the past. Since (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jun-04, to lugnet.western)

(...) Nice. You captured a lot of the scenes well. The grey baseplates for a backdrop seem to give it a cold overtone. Which fits for this part of the book. Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.western, FTX)

  The Brick Tower

Hey all, Thought I would share my latest project here. A Lego rendition of Stephen King's Dark Tower. I've posted it around on fbtb.net and CCC, but never got around to doing it here. For those who have read it, I hope you like it, for those of you (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jun-04, to lugnet.western, lugnet.general) !

Re: The SPLTC Recreates the Old West

Jonathan, Thanks for the comments. If memory serves me correct, the builder of this train wagon was modeling it after a whiskey wagon that would have served the local saloons, which we had two on the layout, with the preferred beverage of the old (...) Hello all! Here are some pictures of my newest creation! The Ghost Train (ooooh, cue scary music). This train is built completely using clear elements (with the exception of the wheels, motor, and other necessary train bits)! All of the parts are (...)   Re: Buffalo Hunt

Bruce, Great job on the buffalo. Unfortunatly for the recent SPLTC Old West layout, none of us sculpted a buffalo, so it was missing. Maybe on a future layout it will appear. We did manage to have some cows, mules and other animals that were (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.western, FTX)

  Re: Buffalo hunt

Bruce, I love this buffalo! I think it looks fantastic, I love how you made the head darker than the body, it's what makes it instantly recognizable. I have a real soft spot for Wild west, so this really makes me happy! Sincerely Jon (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.western, FTX)
