  Re: Gun modifications

(...) Thanks Jon - I don't have anything up on my site at present for the Western theme, but I plan to add a page that covers the pic's that I've referred to here sometime soon. :) Sadly, I'm working on pretty much everything else under the sun (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Gun modifications

Hey, I'm glad that you were able to see my site, There's an error in the code so some folks haven't been able to see it. The Trick to my shotgun mod is in "shaving" down the inside portion of each barrell. This creates a flat surface on the inside (...) (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Gun modifications

Thanks! At the moment I don't have anymore pics of my town. I had meant to get more pics up sooner but my work has been really hecktic. Maybe I will force myself to get that done this week. I have to take some pics of my fort and some of my new (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Gun modifications

(...) <snipped> (...) I liked Jon's, too. I'm not quite sure how he did it, since the barrels /appear/ to have been tappered down a bit back near the trigger area in the one picture showing it on his site (Jon?). My version is a bit "blocky" but I (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Gun modifications

(...) I'm very careful when it comes to customizing like this. I have to have a .lot. of a piece before I'll customize one. The only exception was my modification of black UFO 'armor' to add trimmed Bulls horns as shoulder spikes. I only have 2 of (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Gun modifications

(...) <snipped> Thanks, Jon. It was actually a by product of making the sawed off shotgun and realizing that I had two 'half' rifle barrels and that a 'half' is roughly twice the length of a regular pistol barrel. Seeing as I have obscene numbers of (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.western)

  Gun modifications

I've uploaded a couple pictures to my brickshelf account in follow up to my post a ways back regarding gun modifications, if anyone is interested.   Re: 6716 Canon

The instructions for this set show the model including a "shooting cannon". However, if this set was purchased in the United States, It did NOT come with a shooting cannon. In my experience, standard operating procedure at Lego is to photograph the (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Iron Clads

Do you think the boat hull from the adventure set would do for a small version. I am considering getting some of those sets to build some small versions of iron clads. Or do you think that they are not wide enough. Thank you for your help David (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.western, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats)

  Re: 6716 Canon

(...) It depends where you get it from, I imagine. The ones here in the USA, where I bought a couple, came with a solid dark grey non-shooting cannon. I know that one bought in Italy, however, came with a shooting cannon (although I don't know any (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Iron Clads

(...) It depends on what you mean by "Ironclads." I've done ironclads, but they're the oceangoing European sort--really overgrown frigates-- not the coastal or riverine sort that usually is associated with the US Civil War. (Sorry, no pics at the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.western, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats)

  6716 Canon

Hello Western Fans I have a question for anyone who owns the set 6716. I recently got a copy of the instructions for 6716 Weapons Wagon. It is not clear what type of canon this set has. Is it an all gray non-shooting type, gray with black pull tab (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Stickybrix update

I'm really sorry Frank. The Good news is that I have had the problem pinpointed to errors in HTML code. The problem is that I have no Idea how to write code, so I'm kind of at a loss as to how to fix the problem. I put up the pages through a (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.western)
